Privacy Policy

At Sector 47, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, for what purpose, for how long, and what rights you can exercise over it. It is aligned with Ley 19.628 sobre Protecci贸n de la Vida Privada de Chile, the Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 (GDPR) for European users, and local regulations in the countries where we operate (Spain, Mexico, Brazil, United States).

02Data we process and purpose

The main processing activities we carry out are:

  • Contact and demo forms: name, company, job title, email, phone, country, and interests. Purpose: to respond to your request and maintain a commercial conversation.
  • Newsletter subscription: email and, where applicable, name. Purpose: to send you Sector 47 content on applied AI, cybersecurity, SAP, Salesforce, and product news.
  • Recruitment processes: CV and professional contact information. Purpose: to evaluate your application.
  • Browsing and analytics: aggregated usage metrics (see Cookie Policy).

03Legal basis for processing

  • Consent: for the newsletter, non-essential cookies, and voluntary forms.
  • Performance of a contract: or pre-contractual measures to manage commercial proposals and ongoing projects.
  • Legitimate interest: to improve the site, prevent fraud, and maintain the security of our systems.
  • Compliance with legal obligations: (tax, employment, audit, etc.).

04Retention periods

We will keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to determine any potential liabilities arising from that purpose. As a general reference:

  • Unconverted commercial forms: up to 24 months.
  • Newsletter: until you request to unsubscribe.
  • Signed contracts: for the duration of the contract and any applicable legal periods.
  • Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you request earlier deletion.

05Recipients and international transfers

Your data may be shared with the following recipients, all of whom have signed data processing agreements:

  • Hosting and backup providers in the European Union.
  • Transactional email and newsletter platforms.
  • CRM and analytics tools (HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity).
  • Sector 47 group subsidiaries (Spain, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, United States).

When international transfers are made outside the European Economic Area, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms ensuring an adequate level of protection will apply.

06Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability, and the right not to be subject to automated individual decisions. To do so, write to us at privacidad@sector47.io indicating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a document that verifies your identity.

If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with applicable regulations, you may file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in your country.

07Security measures

Sector 47 applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security commensurate with the risk, aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and the principles of "privacy by design" and "privacy by default." This includes encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, encrypted backups, and ongoing data protection training for our team.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legislative changes or improvements to our processes. The current version will always be the one published on this site, indicating the date of the latest update in the document header.
